Questions
What does it cost to run?
The subscription covers Octoflick. Generation is billed by the providers you connect, at their prices — typically cents per image and well under a dollar for a short clip. You see it on their invoice, not ours.
Why bring my own API keys?
Because reselling generation is where credit-based tools make their margin, and you pay for it. Connect your own Anthropic, Google, OpenAI and Replicate keys and you pay those companies directly at cost. Your keys are encrypted and only ever used server-side on your behalf.
What is the Movie Magic export?
A .sex interchange file that Movie Magic Scheduling imports through File → Import Script. Your scenes arrive as strips with cast, props, wardrobe and locations already filed into the right breakdown categories, so an AD can schedule from it instead of retyping it.
Do I need to be technical?
No. The one setup step is pasting API keys from the providers you want to use, and there's a walkthrough for each of them.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the billing portal in Settings. The trial runs seven days and isn't charged if you cancel before it ends.
